Walking in front of a Praying Person

We know that it is forbidden to walk in front of a praying person, based on the hadith which states that it is better to wait for 40 (it was mentioned whether it is days, months or years) than to walk in front of a praying person.

(This prohibition doesn't apply to the follower (ma'mum). It only applies to the imam and the one praying alone.)

If the praying person uses a sutrah (something that acts as a wall that serves as a front border of the praying person), then one can simply walk beyond the sutrah.

What if the praying person does not use a sutrah, as is usually the case in many mosques here?

If a person does not have a sutrah in front of him, then it is estimated where the sutrah would be and one walks beyond it.

This was mentioned by Sheikh Saalih aal Sheikh (Credits to "Creed of as-Salaf as-Salih" for their post on Common Mistakes in Prayer).

The same was mentioned by Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, as I was informed by a friend.
