As salaamu 'alaykum brother,

On ur multiply blog you have mentioned that Shaykh Khalid ar-Raddadee has advised to abandon Salafitalk. If u read the articles of the Shaykh on the website named after madeenah you will not be able to find it. I just now read all the articles by Shaykh Khalid once again and all I could find is that the Shaykh advised them, found some observations on them, etc. But there is no explicit wording to abandon them. He hasn't made tabdee of them.

99% of what is found on the recent posts on Salafitalk regarding Sh. Alee is just translations of the kalaam of the mashaykh like Shaykh Ubayd, Shaykh Rabee, Shaykh Ahmad Baazmool, Shaykh Muhammad Baazmool, Shaykh Hishaam al-Aarif, Shaykh az-Zatari, Shaykh Muhammad bin Hadi, Shaykh Abdullah al-Bukhari. You can't call that qeel wa qaal.

Alhamdulillah brothers at Salafipublications are Salafees and vast majority of the posts on Salafitalk are beneficial particularly those that have been posted in the last few years after the advice of Shaykh Khalid. If you want to apply Shaykh Rayyis' advise to Shaykh Alee Hasan then it has to be applied to Salafitalk as well because many who post there are Salafi Students of Knowledge. BaarakAllahu feekum. WAllahu aalam.

Wa 'alaykum as-Salamu wa rahmatullah.

Afwan ya akh. Perhaps my words were unclear or in a phrasing that might have incurred meaning other than what i intended.

I intended by what the Shaykh said, that we stay away from Qeel wa Qaal, as quoted:

"I [would like to] bring attention to the point that I have advised the owners of this site – Salafi Talk – may Allaah guide them, that they stay away from spreading ‘Qeel wa Qaal’ (it was said and he said) on this site of theirs, and that they remove a lot of the statements and opinions that contain a lot of Ta’addee (excessiveness) and ignorance. In these statements as well, is a lot of injustice, making incorrect judgments/rulings as well as hastily spreading narrations. I have advised them about this, and they promised that they would remove a lot of these issues from their website."

That is all that i meant.

With regards to abandoning Salafitalk, it is my personal choice, a personal advice especially to myself so as to be safer in ensuring that i stay away from Qeel wa Qaal as advised by the Shaykh.

However, let me clarify that I still do read up Spubs and its links. Just that I personally do not preoccupy myself with Salafitalk and i'd advise my friends who are new and learning to avoid it as they can get confused.

Wallahu a'lam
